What a pleasant surprise. This hidden gem served up an excellent (super fresh & well prepared) poke bowl and sushi roll. Very small shopfront, that lacks a place to sit and eat. That being the case, plan on grabbing food to go, and hit the beach. Worth the stop.
This place is the cutest little sushi place ever! I ordered the Sushi Burrito, and it was amazing! The fish was so fresh, and the flavors were delicious. The atmosphere is also great. It's a cute little sushi shack with a super chill vibe. Would totally eat here again!
Sushi Girl is amazing. My wife and I got two sushi rolls and a burrito and was blown away by the quantity and quality of the food. The fish has the melt in your mouth quality we look for in top tier sushi and the burrito was perfectly rolled and balanced with fish, rice and veggies.
My recommendation is to grab the food, a few beers from the neighboring general store and head to Hanalei bay to enjoy your meal and watch the surfers. It’s one of our favorite dinners we have had in Hawaii.
Food was 4/5. Fish was 5/5. Poke bowl was great but had a little too much rice for the amount of fish. Add one more scoop of fish and it would be perfect. The sushi burrito was good but I found the wrap to be too chewy. The fish is as fresh as it can be. I saw local fisher/surfer guys bring fresh caught fish to the door twice while I was waiting for 15 minutes to get the food. Very impressive. There is no place to eat there or bathrooms so they suggest you go to the beach and eat there instead. Be forewarned parking at that beach can be challenging though. If you are nearby definitely stop in, but if you are an hour away it isn't worth the drive.
This is truly a hidden gem. I had the spicy tuna sushi, which was awesomely served with a heart in the additional spicy sauce. You should pass this place slowly otherwise you won't recognize the tiny little store front. It s definitely a must-do stop on your way to or back from napali coast.
