Way better than I expected for being in a more secluded area. We bellied up to the bar and watched my chiefs lose to the cowboys. Beers were varied and cold. Ahi Poke Bowl was the best we had on the island.

4 stars for being a fun place with outside(deck) seating. 3 stars for food. We had heard such good reviews from friends, but our food was just average and one of the hot dishes was just luke warm. Drinks were overpriced as well, but the Jalapeno and Island spicy margaritas were good. Service was good (Chris). Doubt we will go back.
We stopped at Kalypso for lunch on our way back to the hotel.

The cured beef on the Taco Trio appetizer is amazing. Honestly - it is the best taco I’ve ever eaten. The Nachos were good until I tasted the beef in the Taco Trio. Then nothing tasted as good.
The atmosphere was festive.

The happy hour prices are great, BUT the food and drinks leave much to be desired. We had the sampler platter and Pina colada. The drink was not good and the only think enjoyable on the sampler platter was the coconut shrimp. The nachos looked good but we didn't order them so that may be what to go with.
