First of all, the food is undeniably 5 stars. 3 star penalty for almost never being open when they say.
Super nice, awesome food. I got a chicken arepa, really good portion. All ingredients are fresh and super tasty. Yuca was delicious. Coming back for sure.
It's a crappy feeling to drive 45 minutes to lihue only to be inexplicably closed.
So good! I got the King Kong Arepa (pork). The pork was super juicy and flavorful, not dry like most places these days. Delicious. If you're local, ask to receive a loyalty card. You can also call ahead and place your order! Great, friendly customer service too. Will definitely visit again.
Stopped by while on vacation. We ordered the combo plate with chicken, and loved it. Fresh and healthy. Kind and quick service.
Sooo good!! The arepa is fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside, absolutely loaded with yummy fillings and the SAUCE!!! The spicy sauce is to die for. I got the veggie King Kong arepa and my boyfriend got the chicken King Kong arepa, he loved his as well. We will be back!
Oftentimes there is a "will return" sign on the window, with no one in sight well beyond hours listed. Google says they are open Sundays, but they are not. Today is Sunday, and there is a "will return at 11" sign on the window. It is 1:45 and no one is around.
