L & L is one of the best cheap food options in Hawaii. You know it's good when you see locals eating here! The seafood is fresh and delicious, and the BBQ is also great. I've been coming to HI my whole life and I've always loved L & L
Had the bbq combo and it was good and affordable. They gave you lots and enough for leftovers for the next day. Wife had the healthy garlic shrimp and she loved it. Appeared to be used by the locals, so can't go wrong by that.
Great BBQ chicken and good portion sizes. The kalua pork wasn't as good and seemed questionable.
It is cheap for sure and it is ok. It is not something spectacular. It is good for quick bite a for late night since everything else closes every much early.
You get exactly what you pay for -- killer Hawaiian plates at an affordable price. Great pit stop on the way to or from the beach for a quick lunch!
