Reservations were easily made and instructions were clear. Check-in and shuttle to the launch site was smooth. The staff was very helpful. Captain Dale greeted us like family and off we went under a magnificent rainbow, and shortly after a pod of dolphins joined the party. We were treated to a lovely ride along the most lush and scenic coast I've ever seen. We explored water caves, observed goats and hikers on the cliffs above us. Once we arrived at our snorkeling spot, we explored the amazing underwater world of colorful and abundant fish and sea turtles. When our time was up, we had a delicious lunch and started our journey back to Hanalei. Going back was an adventure! Captain Dale kept us entertained with stories and lore. His mate Casey was well versed on the history and culture of the coast.
Took my son on a tour for his bday! We had a blast!!! We saw dolphins and flying fish!!! And we went inside a cave!!! It was like real life pirates of the Caribbean!
The entire experience was well worth the price and I highly recommend this tour. I have done the larger catamaran tour, and it was good, but the smaller boat made the adventure even better.
Aaron was a great guide and made it worth waking up so early. Saw dolphins turtles and many fish. Snorkeling can be intimidating for some folks and many people chose to stay in the boat but if you do go in it's awesome and you see a lot of fish. Good jokes and we went into some crazy caves! Don't be afraid to sit in the front!!
What an exelerating boat tour out of Hanalei to the Napali Coast. We adventured into sea caves, waterfall and snorkeled along the epic Napali Coast. We saw Hawaiian spinner dolphins, sea turtles and native birds along the tour. The boat is fast and handles the conditions like a pro. It was also super comfortable and it even has a restroom. My wife and I love hearing about the Hawaiian history and legends and the captain and crew where super knowledgable and their customer service is over the top. This tour is a must do while on Kauai and the experience will definitely last a lifetime.
From the very start, Holo Holo Charters was friendly and professional. Allen was a fantastic captain and Charlene was a sweet, friendly, and observant first mate. We had such a fun, safe time. As we left the bay, we saw sea turtles and possibly a shark fin. The swell was a bit high, so we couldn't snorkle. But the fun ride, beautiful scenery, and terrific crew made up for it. We did get to go into one cave. We didnt think the captain was going in, but last minute he did. We were all happily surprised and got wet. It was so fun! Allen and Charlene were so informative. We learned a lot about the area and sea life. At the end of the Napali Coast, we saw hundreds of dolphins. The Captain said he has never seen so many. He told us he was trained in how to treat the dolphins, so he went slowly through their pod as to not disturb them because they were resting. We decided to eat lunch there, so now we can say that we ate lunch with the dolphins! It was beyond amazing. On the way back, we got to look at the coast from a distance. The ride home was wavy and fun. When the crew found a baby bird, they went out of their way to rescue it. We did about all the tours in Kauai, and this one was our favorite by far. I highly highly recommend it!
