Cottage #2 is the Best Unit.
The scenery and access to the beach is worth every penny. The only reason we give it a 4 is that the cottage we stayed in needed a few small items fixed to be considered 5 stars. Otherwise everything else was amazing and we probably would stay here again at some point.
My wife does the arrangements and scored unit #2, which is ocean front with a great deck and view. The 2 bedroom unit is very modern and spacious with high quality tiles and furnishings. Having no AC is nice since you mostly don't need it but would have run it 12/7 which means you constantly have to acclimate. The reef access is easy and there were a fair amount of marine critters to see. The coral is mostly dead but just enough there to make it interesting. There was an endangered Monk Seal sleeping on the rocks just south of the cottages. If you see one be very respectful of its space. It's worth the premium rate since it is the best unit here. Only some minor cons, but worth noting for continuous improvement opportunities: 1) the grass was very high and needed cut, 2) a couple of pedestal fans would have helped in August when the wind laid down and it reached 90 deg, 3) a plastic spatula for the Teflon skillet would help the survival rate of the coating, 4) the porch should have an extension roof added for those rainy moments. Otherwise one of our best vacation spots ever. Thanks and keep up the great property.
