The service was horrible. We waited outside the restaurant for 30 mins after the time our reservations were scheduled for. We then proceeded to wait another 50 minutes to get our entrees. It was awful. As for the food, it was ok, but I would not go back.
I really wanted to like this place. The building and decor were beautiful. I probably should have read the menu first, but I just saw "vegetarian options" and thought I would be ok. However, there was only one vegetarian entre, the rest included fish.
The other problem we had was someone I was dining with asked if they could have a side salad instead of potatoes with their dish. Our server told us she could order the fish on it's own and then order the salad separately. When our bill came, we saw we had been charged for the whole entre as well as for the salad app, even though the side salad was much smaller than the appetizer salad on it's own.
Best option in Hanalei. Tasty healthy food, lovely atmosphere, nice people.
