Nice church, but a local guy kept watching me from his car, being super creepy when I took pics. You can frame it so it looks awesome, but really its next to a busy road.
Beautiful church on the North Shore...
While I haven't attended a service here, we did stop to visit. I was impressed that the church was just left open, even though it didn't appear anyone was around (Hawaii is magical that way). The building and its windows are absolutely beautiful, and the panorammic setting surrounding it is breathtaking.
I've never seen a hymnal in Hawaiian before--I was happy to see that the culture was respected in that way, given the problematic history of our taking over, etc.
It's exceptionally beautiful and so is the whole town.
